Bluetooth
The PinOne Bluetooth board adds wireless connectivity to your PinOne Mini, allowing you to connect your virtual pinball cabinet controller to PCs, VR headsets, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices without a USB cable. This is especially useful for VR setups such as the Meta Quest, where a cable connection to the headset is not possible.
The Bluetooth board supports both keyboard and gamepad modes, giving you full flexibility depending on the game or platform you are using.
📄️ Installing the Bluetooth Board
The PinOne Bluetooth board is designed as a plug-in expansion for the PinOne Mini. No soldering, tools, or additional wiring is required.
📄️ Steam Configuration
The PinOne Bluetooth board uses a different controller mapping string than the wired USB connection, so you cannot reuse the standard PinOne VDF string for it. The recommended approach is to generate the correct string directly from the PinOne Configuration Tool and paste it into Steam during the controller configuration — this automatically reflects however you have your buttons configured.
📄️ Meta Quest Configuration
The PinOne Bluetooth board supports two different input modes for use with the Meta Quest headset: keyboard mode for Pinball FX, and gamepad mode for VR Classic. This page covers how to configure each mode using the PinOne Configuration Tool.
